I can't stand Myspace
You shouldn't let it get to you. First of all, let me say that nobody on Myspace is really that pretty in real life. It's like that old saying..."the camera adds ten pounds." Well in this case it's more like "the camera adds more comments for Myspace," and in most cases those comments are just ploys to get the reciever to comment back.

Anyways, I think of Myspace as one huge vicious cycle of false popularity and fake expressions of oneself. Don't let something as artificial as Myspace lower your self esteem. And if you don't think you have anybody to talk to...hi. I'm talking to you; that's what Nutang's for :)

I know all of this probably sounds really cheesy, but it kills me when people think of Myspace as anything more than just a website. It doesn't really MEAN anything. Don't let peoples' images of pseudo-popularity get to you.
